The GRYC runs an active program of sailing and social events throughout the year.

For the summer season, which launches with the club's Opening Day event in early October of each year, racing is held weekly, with the clubhouse open for drinks and meals for each sailing event. Twilight racing is held most Friday nights with race starts at 6pm. Daytime racing is also held on some weekends - refer to the club program for these events. A highlight of the summer season is the Regatta Week held in January, culminating in the running of the Milang Goolwa Freshwater Classic - South Australia's premier freshwater race.

The winter season is conducted with events held on a monthly basis, with a twilight race on the Friday night starting at 4:30pm and a daytime race on either the Saturday or Sunday of the same weekend. The winter series includes the running of the Dauntless Cup, a longer race from Goolwa to Rat Island and return.

Sailability events are held monthly with a couple of scheduled breaks. Please refer to the program for dates.

Accessing the Club Program

The club offers four ways to access the club's annual program:

• Hard copies are mailed to each member on renewal of their memberships, and are also available at the clubhouse.

• A pdf version of the program that can be printed or saved locally at members' homes is available here:

• Note that this pdf is not updated for any program changes that might occur during the year. We will strive to notify members of any changes via email, or check via the calendar displayed on this page.

• Add the GRYC calendar to your Android or Apple mobile device (phone or tablet) using these instructions.

• Refer to the calendar widget displayed below. The widget allows you to view the program in number of ways. It is most conveniently viewed in 'Agenda' format which lists the events sequentially, but you can also select other views from the top menu. Month view is probably the next most useful view. There is a 'Today' button at the top left of the widget which will reset the view to today's date.
